Product Engineer, with four years split between deciding what gets built and building it. The most useful thing I did at Banana Software was cut roughly one in five planned features from the roadmap, because they didn't earn what they cost. The ones that stayed, I wrote myself, in Next.js and TypeScript. I live in Argentina and work remotely with teams in the US and LATAM.
I'm a bioengineer from ITBA. My thesis predicted 2-year mortality in patients with colorectal cancer liver metastasis, using real data from Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires, and it left me in the habit of asking a decision for a number before making it. I came into product through the frontend: I went through Techstars W24 in New York with Tumo, and later led four projects at Banana with teams of three or four people and up to 1,500 active users.

As Junior (Jan 2023 – Jun 2024), I introduced Next.js, Tailwind, shadcn and MaterialUI for the first time at the company.

The research came from a need the hospital had: predicting how an oncology patient would evolve from their historical data. I worked with real clinical data, predictive models and statistics applied to oncology.
